Amber Floyd Lee

Attorney Amber Floyd Lee enjoys vigorously advocating for her clients and has never shied away from a challenge or tough case. Ms. Lee is a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She studied Journalism at Webster University in Saint Louis, Regent's College in London and Wayne State University. She earned her J.D. in 2009 at Virginia's Appalachian School of Law and still serves on the Alumni Board of Directors.
Ms. Lee shows unparalleled dedication to her community. She lives with her family in the historic Tree Streets neighborhood where she spearheaded efforts with the Southside Neighborhood Organization to build, install, and license six Little Free Libraries. Believing that communities are only as great as our commitment to them, Ms. Lee is leading efforts to conduct a corridor study along Johnson City's Walnut Street, going to great effort to see the beautification and feasibility of the connection between ETSU and downtown Johnson City. Ms. Lee attends Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church with her family, served as the Chairwoman of the Johnson City Housing and Community Development Advisory Board, and served as the president of the Washington County Bar Association. She is counsel to the Munsey Church Preschool Board of Trustees. The Tennessee Bar Journal has additionally featured Ms. Lee as a “Person You Need to Know.”
Ms. Lee is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and is a Rule 31 Supreme Court mediator. She In addition to her focus on land-use and local government issues, she is specially-trained by the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women in domestic abuse issues. She worked for years as a VAWA grant recipient assisting women leaving emotionally and physically abusive relationships, obtaining protective orders, and breaking ties with their abusers by obtaining divorce. “The legal system can be another way abusers bully and control,” Lee said. “I work diligently to ensure my clients are not re-victimized while obtaining a just resolution to their issues.”

Sarah Larkin

Attorney Sarah Larkin brings years of litigation and trial advocacy to her domestic, juvenile, and other civil work. Ms. Larkin grew up in a small town along the Ohio River and attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia on an academic scholarship majoring in psychology and music. She earned her J.D. from Boston's New England School of Law.
Ms. Larkin worked in-house, directly with victims, at a domestic violence shelter through Greater Boston Legal Services in their Housing Division. Ms. Larkin represented residents of Boston when facing the tumultuous and confusing process of working with landlords and facing the possibility of eviction. After receiving her J.D. in 2008, Ms. Larkin moved to Knoxville, where she practiced exclusively in civil defense trial work, litigating matters in State and Federal trial and appeals Courts. At Lee Law Group, PLLC Sarah handles complex litigation and many of our domestic relations appellate cases where her background in psychology is an asset. Ms. Larkin writes for legal blogs and mentors law students when she isn't restoring her 1913 home located in the city's historic district.
